1. Pricing & Price Changes

All prices displayed on our website, social media platforms, quotations, and promotional material are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Prices are only confirmed once a valid invoice has been issued and payment has been received or agreed to in writing.

All prices are subject to revision in the event of legitimate pricing errors, supplier price changes, or applicable tax adjustments, including VAT changes.

2. Payment Terms

• Goods must be paid for in full before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods:
• Cash
• Credit Card
• EFT / Bank Transfer (Goods released only once payment reflects and clears)
• We do not offer credit facilities or accounts.

3. Layby Terms

• Laybys are valid for a maximum period of 4 months.
• A 50% deposit is required.
• If goods are not collected within 4 months, prices may be subject to change, or goods may be resold to cover expenses unless prior arrangements have been made with management.

4. Ownership of Goods

Ownership of goods remains with Gorgeous Furniture until the full purchase price has been paid in full and cleared.

5. Special Orders & Restocking

• Specially ordered or custom-manufactured goods may be exchanged or returned only if defective or not of acceptable quality.
• Approved non-defective returns may be subject to a 30% restocking fee.

6. Delivery Terms

• Deliveries are scheduled by allocated days only; specific times cannot be guaranteed.
• Delivery fees are calculated based on distance and location.
• Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by third parties, logistics delays, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Goods will not be delivered without confirmed payment.
• Failed delivery attempts may result in additional delivery charges.
• Deliveries require a signature upon receipt.

7. Delivery Delays

We will make every reasonable effort to meet estimated delivery dates; however, delays may occur. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed and do not constitute grounds for cancellation unless required under applicable consumer protection laws.

8. Collection of Goods

• Customers must collect goods within 7 days after notification that goods are ready.
• Storage fees of 5% of the selling price per month may apply thereafter.

9. Inspection of Goods

• A responsible person must be present to inspect and sign for goods upon delivery.
• Any shortages or damages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
• Original packaging must be retained if returns are required.

10. Faulty Goods & Warranty

• Factory warranties apply where applicable.
• Customers may be required to return goods for inspection.
• Faulty goods reported within 48 hours may qualify for replacement subject to inspection.
• Goods reported after 7 days may be repaired or replaced according to supplier warranty policies.

11. Returns & Cancellation

• Returns are subject to CPA guidelines.
• Approved cancellations may incur a 20% handling fee.
• Orders already in manufacturing may incur a 30% charge.
• Non-defective returns must be unused and in original packaging.

12. Redelivery & Failed Deliveries

• Additional delivery fees may be charged for redelivery due to:
• Customer absence
• Incorrect address
• Non-payment at delivery

13. Liability

Gorgeous Furniture shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses caused by delivery delays, third-party logistics, or circumstances beyond our control, except where required by South African law.

14. Disputes & Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court of Johannesburg.

15. Legal Costs

The purchaser may be responsible for reasonable legal costs incurred in recovering outstanding payments where permitted by law.

16. Privacy Statement

Customer information will be used only for lawful business purposes, including order processing and customer communication. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

17. Product Representation

Images are for illustrative purposes only. Colours, finishes, and dimensions may vary slightly due to manufacturing and display differences.

18. Intellectual Property

All website content, trademarks, logos, and images remain the property of Gorgeous Furniture or their respective owners and may not be used without written permission.
